Ship: The Discoverie
I'm back in civilized space! The comms are continuing to be flooded with chatter of mysterious objects and what they mean. Alien life perhaps? I hope to get my ASP serviced and back to 100% quickly so I can get back out. I've also picked up rumors of someone searching for a habitable planet 2000-4000 LY's from SOL. Which direction should I go in. The search for alien life or expanding our reach into the galaxy?
I thought my landing skills would be rusty but it was just like riding a bike. I'm am now docked in Lave and trying out where to sell my 200+ days for exploration data.

On my way home. I keep hearing brief radio messages about unknown artifacts, and mysterious rocks so I'm en route to home in hopes of servicing my ship, find me a nice lady of the night and have a relaxing weekend before shipping back off to the wild black yonder.
Fly safe commanders!

Headed home. I'm still stopping and checking out potential earth likes and that such but I'm ready to get back and see what new goodies I can obtain.
Day: 166

Ship: The Discoverie
Sagittarius is now in my rear view camera. I've begun my trip home in anticipation of made enough credits to upgrade to a newer ship. If not, I'll make a decision on bounty hunting or heading back out to the deep black of space. I wonder how I'll be greeted when I return....
Day: 153

Ship: The Discoverie
I finally made it to Sagittarius. After months of jumping, this last jump had me on the edge of my seat with excitement. Even after seeing all previous explorers post pictures from their expedition I was still amazed at the view.
Now to head home or keep wandering........
Day: 145

The router planner is killing me! It's chewing on bits and bits and bits and bits and it just won't complete a router that requires more than one jump.
I've also begun keeping track of the more impressive systems just to have a reference. Yes I started this trip 5 months ago and I've only just begun keeping track. Oh well.
Day: 116

Ship: The Discoverie
On my way to a Nebula that was sort of on the way to Sagittarius, I am begging to find a lot of Water and Earth Like worlds. Explorer life is going well for me. I'm really hoping all of my hard work will pay off in the end.
Day: 115

Ship: The Discoverie
I've found a handful of Black Holes lately and it is renewing my push to Sagittarius. I am now closer to my end goal than I am my home. It is a very strange feeling to be so far from home and still headed away from it.
Day: 110

Ship: The Discoverie
Found my first black hole today. It was a very cool find and I can't wait until I find more!
Day: 110

I found my first O class star today. The blue hue is AMAZING. The same system also contained a Ae/Be Star, a Class B and 2 T Tauri stars. Very interesting system.
Day: 108

Ship: The Discoverie
I found my first Water Giant today. Not as exciting as a water world but it's one more mark on my check list of things to find.
Day: 106

Ship: The Discoverie
I've forgotten about updating my log book. You would think I would not forget as it is the only communication I have with....well no body.
I've found a handful of unexplored Neutron stars on my way to Sagittarius. I'm in no hurry to get there and I hope I will push on through instead of turning around and going home. I'll most likely be gone for so long there might be a newer ship I can buy with a longer jump range. I know there is the Anaconda but it's just so big.......That's what she said! I need someone to talk to.
Signing off...
Day: 82

Ship: The Discoverie
Found an interesting system today. The main star was a huge Class B star. Orbiting it were a few metal rich planets and the following additional stars and 3 class T Tauris stars.
For the time being I'm exploring the BYUA sector.
Day: 78

Ship: The Discoverie
Nothing really exciting to report. I'm working my way towards the Eagle Nebula. I have not found any exciting systems in a while. I've begun skipping detailed scanning of all of these systems until I get closer to the core. My end gave is the center of the universe and possibly beyond. Possibly.......... It does get lonely out here.
Day: 70

Ship: The Discoverie
I'm back in the drivers seat after a small vacation. Today I came upon a nice little Earth-Like world among a nice little 9 planet system. I'm beginning to make progress towards the middle of the galaxy.
Day: 53

I believe I have found my way out of my pickle of being lost and have now begun another journey in a random direction.
This morning, I was thinking back to when I was little and eating mac n cheese for dinner along with some chicken nuggets. Time were so simple back then. Now I'm flying a star-ship around an unknown universe looking for worlds full of life or materials that can be exploited. My personal life achievement would be to find a race of man that fled our occupied space and has settled on a new world in hopes of starting over without all of the politics of home.
Fly safe commanders!
Day: 51

Ship: The Discoverie
Today I found my first earth like in some time. I'm still lost but then again I'm in the middle of the galaxy so other than a basic star chart, do we really know where I'm at?
Day: 40

Ship: The Discoverie
Lost.....I'm can't seem to find a way out. I'm jumping around the same stars and once in a while I find one that I have not explored. My nav computer can't seem to plot a route further than about 100LY. Frustrated! As they say, keep calm and plot on!!
Day: 39

I feel like a fried egg. My jump landed me between 3 stars today. I dropped out of witch space before any damage but the only way to get out was to jump to super cruise and in the process of getting that going I heated up real fast. Fortunately my hull and power plants are only at 99%. Time to change my shorts, take a quick space shower and get back into the drivers seat.
Day: 32

Ship: The Discoverie
I found a very interesting system today. A neutron star that had a High metal content world, a water world that could be terra-formed. I'm not sure that's the best idea though. On a side note, one of the High Metal content worlds looked a little angry.
Day: 30.2
Location: Classified
Ship: The Discoverie
I found another system with a neutron star, an M class star and a L class star. Orbiting the M class star were 4 high metal planets that could be terra-formed. Not a bad find. So far no Earth like or water worlds but there is still plenty of dark in the day.
Day: 30

I seem to have found a dead end. I have several Neutron stars that I would like to visit but jump range is not large enough. (Insert bad sex joke here) THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID!
I have started back tracking in hope of a) find a way around or just finding a new direction to explore. Only time will tell.
Fly safe commanders!
Day: 27

I have found a few more Neutron stars that I explored. I seem to have found a 200LY area that contains several Neutron stars.
Mo money mo money mo money!
Day: 26
Location: Classified
Ship: The Discoverie
Today's journeys have been pretty good. I found my first neutron star today and with some more research in my star charts I might have found 3 more. Trying to plot a course to explore all of them. I don't want to work backwards so I might leave one for the return trip. It was kind of a rush finding this as I didn't know what to expect and other than my scanners confirming what I thought, I didn't really see much. At least I can mark that off my to find list. All that is left is a black hole. One day soon I will find one.
A few of the other systems I've explored today have yielded some planets that might qualify for terra-forming. So far I'm up to 4 planets that might work out. I found 3 of them in one system that spanned itself over 2 stars.
On a side note, I wonder who will win the Stanley Cup this year.
Day: 20

Ship: The Discoverie
My NAV computer seemed to receive some sort of firmware update overnight and now I seem to be receiving GALNET news. I guess the struggle is real back home. Now it seems I might need to pick a side. We'll see as I'm really only in it for the money.
I sure am glad this update didn't hose my systems and left me flying blind 2,000 LY's from SOL.
How did I receive this update? Am I being followed?
Day: 13
Location: Orbiting a newly found Earth-like world
Ship: The Discoverie
Today I have come across my first Earth-like world since leaving on my second exploration tour. After finding about a dozen worlds suitable for terra-forming I am proud to announce that I have found a planet that is ready for settlement. I'm hoping my long term trip will produce 10-12 Earth-like worlds but we will see what is in the stars for me.
Day: 10
Location: The Deepness of space
Ship: The Discoverie
I found a system today that was anchored by a Class F star and had 3 planets suitable for Terra-forming. My luck for finding these types of planets seems to be getting better but I have not found any new Earth like planets.....yet. To infinity and Beyond!
Day: 9

Ship: The Discoverie
Today's exploring has revealed several more planets suitable for terra-forming and a few water worlds. I've found quite a few ice cubes as well. Some were scanned, some were skipped.
Day: 8
Location: Classified
Ship: The Discoverie
So far I've found half a dozen planets that might be candidates for terraforming. I have not found any earth like worlds in a while but my search continues. Asteroid fields are a pain to deal with. First they confuse my scanners and second, navigating around them. One wrong move and I'll have a new window in my nice new ASP.
Day: 7

Ship: The Discoverie
I’m on my leisurely way to the galactic core. I’m surprised to find so many ice planets. It seems the galaxy is one big iced lemonade and the icy planets are just here to keep everything nice and cold.
Day: 3
Location: HIP 95721
Ship: The Discoverie
As I was sitting in a bar before my leaving on my trip filling out all of the necessary insurance paperwork for my new ship, it asked the name of my ship among the many serial numbers for all of the upgrades. I entered “The Discoverie”. The purpose of my mission and calling are exploring so what better than to name her The Discoverie.
Day: 1
Location: Outside of the Sol region
Ship: The Discoverie
I have purchased an ASP with equipped specifically for exploring, my first vessel without gun. I do however have shields. I don’t want to be completely naked out there. I have begun my journey to head this way or that way or to head where ever the fair winds take me. My current stat for systems visited is 442. I’m hoping to reach 2000 before the end of my trip. Signing off.
