Nothing too noteworthy in this log, I'm afraid. No new discoveries, no Terraformables... hardly even anything worth scanning. It still made me a good chunk of change at the end of the day though, if only by sheer force of numbers, so I can't be too upset about it.
Heading back towards populated space... I feel grateful, and excited - I can't wait to see what my payout will be - but also a bit sad. Like I'm missing out on something by turning around. But there's only so far my little Adder can take me - and every byte of data that I sell gets me a few steps closer to an Asp.

Double scan glitch, why do you vex me so.
At the very least, that phantom K-class in ZU-Y D54 has finally been pinned down; when I got here a few days ago, it drove me insane that I couldn't quite find it with my limited Discovery Scanner. An upgrade to the Advanced model has found it for me. Frustrating that I'm realizing now, as I make the ~272,000ls trip to ZU-Y D54 B, I had indeed found it visually, without sensors, when I first arrived here - I just got impatient and gave up heading in the right direction.
Tomorrow I head for Klikis - god-awful, backwards, anarchistic system that it is. It's the only system within 400 light-years that has a station for me to offload my data at.
